How to make paper beads

You can make beads from a variety of waste paper/recycling paper and string them together to make necklaces or bracelets:

What you'll need are:
scraps of wallpaper, magazine pictures, used wrapping paper, colored paper, etc.
pencil, ruler, and scissors, glue and drinking straws, thread or yarn.

With your scissors, cut long triangles from your paper scraps that are about 1/2-inch wide and 2 1/2-inches long - best: make a cardboard template for triangle! Cover one side of a triangle with glue paste.
Put the glue paste on the inside of the paper so that the colourful pattern is on the outside of your bead.
Place the triangle's glued short side on a drinking straw. Hold on tight.
Twist and wrap the paper completely around itself on the straw.
Cut away the straw at both ends of the rolled paper.

To make beads with different shapes, vary the size and shape of the paper triangles that you cut.
Let your beads dry, and then string them together on your thread or yarn.
Knot the ends of the thread together.

How to make an envelope

It is very easy to make an envelope:

*Get a piece of any paper you like (fashion catalogue, gift wrapping paper, tapestry.....) but make sure it must be in A4 size.

*Take any old or used envelope that you find in your family´s mail - square or rectangular.
*Open it carefully at the sides and unfold it - this is your model!!
*Draw the form of the original envelope on your paper.
*Cut it out.
*Fold the paper into three parts.
Make sure that Part A and Part B are the same size while Part C is smaller.
Then, draw a one-centimeter margin along both sides of the paper.
*Next, cut out the margin for the Parts A and C only. Fold Part A onto Part B. Then fold the margin of Part B onto Part A.
*Glue the margin. You may also fold in the corners of Part C and cut along the lines to make your envelope have a nicer flap. Look at the drawing for further help!

Wow, congrats! Now you have your own beautiful individual envelope ready!!!
